This fraudulant company dares to make assumptions about me? This scumbag collection agency was sent after me to collect $23,265.51 from me for Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America. How dare those corporate gangsters do this to me after their strong arm thugs at City Mitsubishi in Jacksonville FL robbed me like I described in my ripoff report on them! They try to threaten me. I would like to see them have the same attitude in my face so I can have them put in jail. If they continue to harrass me I will sue you to the fullest extent of the law. I never signed a agreement or contract with GC Service, therefore I do no not owe them one cent.

To GC Services:
Any abusive contact with me or otherwise will be recorded. So don't waste your time and go extort someone else. People like you at GC Sevices, City Mitsubishi, and Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America belong in prison in Cuba with the other terrorists.

No one wants to be in the position to be called, or harassed, by creditors. You have put everyone in a category, we are irresponsible because we did not, or cannot, pay our bills which, according to your statement, has driven up your interest rates. Interest rates are determined by credit scores. Some companies, such as American Express, once you have a card will run your credit and if there are any bad marks on there, they up your interest and lower your credit limit. Now, I would like to remind you that life is not always kind. I have suffered two jobs loses through layoffs, been unemployed for over six to eight months at a time. Therefore, I have had trouble paying my bills once I exhausted my 401K and other savings. I also ended up in the hospital during that time and have to pay COBRA $800 per month to ensure I have coverage. Some people are deadbeats that is true, but I believe that the majority of people who have responded have legitimate issues. So get off our website and go to another one where you can proclaim your issues to a forum that really cares what you think, because I for one, do not.

Responsible for our own actions... I have filed a complaint, too

AUTHOR: Sandra - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 22, 2004

This is to the man from Arizona who said no one addressed the real issue. Well I have something to say to you...you say that we should pay up to our obligations?

I have filed a complaint, I am thinking about getting a lawyer now. I received a bill in the mail from GC Services today for $675 which they say that I owe to Sprint PCS. I don't. I owe Sprint PCS $46 for the bill due on August 7, 2004. I called Sprint PCS and asked them what this was all about. They have no idea (is what they said) and gave me their Fraud number which I have called.

So in answer to your note about facing our obligations..... what does a person do now when they don't owe the money? The company (Sprint PCS) says I don't owe the company and Eric from GC Services says he can't even give me the phone number to the account that I supposedly owe. It's funny in someways because I have the same phone I have had since the beginning of opening my account.... and it's active.....so you tell me.

pay your bill

AUTHOR: Matt - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 01, 2004

It is interesting to see these posts. Not one of you has addressed the real issue. To Joe in Maine, you bought the car, you agreed to the terms of the loan, you had the opportunity to have the car checked out prior to purchase, you defaulted on the loan, you FORCED Mistu to have the car repossed, and you are calling THEM crooks.

It is amazing to me that America has gotten to the point where not one person is willing to take personal reponsibility. While the tactis described may be out of line, although I am sure that they are greatly exaggerated. You as the consumer are reponsible to pay your debts.
here is a novel concept for you. Pay your bills and you will not receive these types of calls.
For Jen in Mesa, it's called outsourcing, look it up if you need to.

For Molly in SD you need to mail them a letter of dispute and have them provide you with verification of the debt they are trying to collect. They will be required to stop attempts to collect the debt until they can prove you owe it.

For the rest of you. Address your obligations and you will not receive collection call. If you do so you may even lower my interest rates which are so high because I have to cover the losses of you people.

Fraud and Heavy Handed Tactics

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 19, 2004

This company phones out of the blue and says that I owe money on a former corporate credit card. When I stated that I didn't and that they have to show me that I owed money, they said that they didn't. I am just expected to pay.

I have hired a lawyer because I am tired of their harrassing calls to me and my wife.

I am also taping their calls for the impending court date.

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Typical, these people don't know how to treat another human being.

AUTHOR: Beth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 10, 2003

I was here a few weeks ago as you can see, telling you folks about GC Services.

I would really love to see some justice done in their West Virginia office.

I was recently fired after a years worth of employment without any real notice other than I couldn't seem to clock in for the day at my terminal.

Typical, these people don't know how to treat another human being.

As I said, I was given 2 raises and had 2 taken away and when I questioned why, I was told that "It didn't matter why" I just had to sign a consent form that said I agreed with the fact that I lost my raise.

Strongarmed by management, actually.
I wrote a complaint letter to the HR department and never heard anything for about a week, so I went right to them and asked what was going on with that and I found myself in a meeting with 2 of the "head honchos" and they basically laughed in my face because I dared to stand up for myself.

I learned then and there that they don't want you to defend yourself, they simply do not care.
This whole incident got out of hand.
Where management had bet $10 to a co-worker who happened to be a friend of mine-that he could make me cry if he made some snide comment about my letter in front of people who knew nothing about it and simply did not need to know.

If they got rid of their management staff, I really think the West Virginia office would be better off.

I was on nightshift and because I got pregnant back in January, my manager decided in March or April that she needed to get rid of me and put me on dayshift.

"To make it easier on me."
Hah! It wasn't easier on me. The only reason I even let her do that to me was because I was sick of watching her play favorites like all of the other managers do.

I got sick of my managers manager trying to say that I was lying about being pregnant just because I didn't show right from the beginning.

I was passing around ultrasounds-what more did she need?

Once again, GC Services is a horrible company to work for and I will continue to make it known by any means possible.

#2 UPDATE Employee

The dirt on GC Services

AUTHOR: Beth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 01, 2003

I have been with these people for over a year and I am about to be an ex employee at the West Virginia office, so I don't care to sit here and spew all I know.

I work as an AR on their Sprint PCS project.
These people have no compassion whatsoever when it comes to their employees.

In the past year, I have had 2 raises given and 2 taken away and when I asked, I was treated like a child and demanded to sign a sheet of paper saying that I was ok with this and was not given any explanation whatsoever.

This isn't all of the things I could tell you. I will leave you with the story of how I found out this passed January that I was pregnant and when I told my manager, she let me stay on her team for 5 months after before deciding that she needed to get rid of me.

GC Services is a HORRIBLE company to work for! Email me for more details!

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

GC Services is at it again!

AUTHOR: Jen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 27, 2003

Wow, I should have known that GC Services would be listed on this site. I am an ex-employee from the Mesa, AZ office and I've got the dirt on GC Services. They are independantly contracted with "bigger" companies (IE: AT&T, Sprint, ect) who pay them to do the "dirty work" for them. You are expected to answer the phone as if you are a real employee for these companies. Same policies, different pay scale. Not only do they PRETEND to actually be the company they are representing, they tell the customers lies to get them to shut up.

There were many a times that I would have a customer ask me a "company" related question that I did not know the answer to, so to save face my manager would have me feed them a line of crap so they would be happy.

As if its bad enough that GC Services works for other companies with their guidelines, they also have their own stupid little rules. Not to mention that the UPPER MANAGEMENT at the Mesa location is a bunch of wanna be corporate "I'm so high and mighty" people. There were alot of people at this location that were into "swinging" and they would try to get you to participate.

If you did not participate in their little rendevous(which alot of us DID'NT), some of the upper management that were a part of it would frown upon you.

I just think that this company sucks all around.
In fact, I had a collector call me the other day for $23.00 balance(it was only 2 days late) the man said he was from some company, but my caller ID said GC Services. I had to tell him that I knew about their little games, and he shut up real quick.

BEWARE to all those companies that are looking into having GC Services run one of their call centers. You are better off hiring the "right" people and doing things yourself.
