Glenn Harms (a.k.a. Sac Valley Home Inspections) sounded competent enough on the phone. He told me what I wanted to hear and easily scheduled an appointment at my earliest convenient, probably because he didn't have any other clients. Glenn even was negotiable on his fee, which at the time I believed was just a sign of a poor economy.

Harms is not a rip off

I have used Glenn Harms for 2 inspections and trying for a 3rd. I didn't know him when I called him and only due to a crappy market have I used his service to find out I didn't want to buy and old home that needed lots of updating, and one that had been flipped without any regard to new homeowners. I feel he did a good job, and is well worth the few hundred for each inspection. I do feel that it took a little time to get the first report but the second was there the next day, I just couldn't find it because it was in my spam filter. He offered to put both of them on his website when it didn't go through email. Although there isn't a hard copy of it, I believe for the 21st century, do we really need that?
