I purchased a 2008 Dodge Charger from a nice dealership and was financed by Global lending Services. I really loved that car by the way. I was paying a little over 209.00 by weekly if I remember correctly. Didn't like how it worked out but I was told you pay it quicker like that and I loved the car. Anyway I fell into hard times and missed a week after paying so faithfully because I loved the car. I get paid every two weeks but I spoke with someone to let them know I'll be late, they didn't like that. I was basically told how bad of a person I was. By the time week two was coming up of missed payment. To make a long story short I mailed a money order and dodged the back to back calling because you can't get blood from a turnip and they blocked my account online so I couldn't pay online. I called to see if they got the payment and was told yes and I told her when I will send the next one and she said ok. When I was leaving to go to work I learned my car was repossessed. I called to see what I had to do to get my car back and this obnoxious guy by the name of Tim told me you're not getting anything back unless you pay us back 11,000 or 12,000 dollars then you may get it back but I doubt it. I asked for my payment back and was refused. The car got repoed on March of 2013. They put it on my credit as never late repossession. I just want them to take it off. I tried with them so many times and was told you was almost 3 weeks behind which they didn't count the payment they took and was counting the week they had the car. Now I also have a balance to pay of 2322.00 on my credit. All I want them to do is take it all off. I was going to sue and I still may do it. At the time I didn't have the money to sue but I can now. Getting a refund for everything would be nicer!

What company is not in the business to make money? It’s fair to say, if this consumer is honest in this reporting, that global lending should have given him options to keep the vehicle, aside from paying the balance in full. Many individuals who file bankruptcy are able to reaffirm their debt and maintain their contract, even though filing bankruptcy is "against the terms of the agreement”. It is sad to say how large lenders are failing to protect their consumers during time of duress.

You defaulted on the contract by not making your payments as per the agreed upon stips in said contract. As such, you turned on the repo machine. This is exactly what you said happened. Their reporting this repo to the credit bureaus was correct and proper. If you didnt want a bad entry on your bureau reports, then you should have abided by the terms of the contract.
