Payday Loan Yes have unethical and questionable business practices, for some reason they do not have to honor or follow the Federal Trade Commissions Fair Debt Practices. I got behind on the loan and tried to make arrangments and that was not good enough. For several weeks they have called and threatened and harassed me at my place of employment and resulted to immature name calling to me. They made excessive and unauthorized drafts from my account. I strongly encourage anyone to not take a loan with this company or any other of companies under this name, they do not have a physical address they only provide a vitural address for doing business. I researched them online with the BBB of Utah. 2 years ago the state of Illinois Division of Financial Institutions issued an order against Global Payday Loan to immediately cease and desist from engaging in business as a payday lender and they were ordered to pay a fine of $234,000. Because they do not follow the Federal Trade Commission Fair Debt Practices they can result to threatening behavior such as humiliating remarks, threaten to sue you for fraud and constantly call and harass you place of employment or home. They also have on file with BBB 182 complaints filed. I know with today's economy a person can get in a financial bind and these companies seem like your only option or a God-send but it turns into pure hell if you fall behind.
