Global Payments Check Services Inc. Declines Good Checks Chicago Illinois

On Oct. 22 2005 I wrote a check at a local gas station and paid with a check as I have done at this station hundreds of times in the past. The casher ran my check and explained that they had just started a new electronic check policy. When she ran the check she advised me that my check was declined, I know the money was there because I had just checked my bank account that morning to make sure my paycheck had been deposited which it had. When I called Global as instructed to find out why my check had been declined the lady told me in a very rude tone that they did not discuss that information over the phone and that I would have to write Global to find out that information. I went home and checked my account agin and there was more than enough there to cover this check, I guess they don't want anyone to write checks anymore.
