When I was looking for a company to file my taxes, my frined referred this comapny to me. I called them and provided my details and asked them to prepare my taxes and file them.
They worked on my taxes and send me a draft report. The moment they sent me the draft report, they relentlessly kept on calling me till the time I paid my fee. The fee is more that what my firned paid.
Once the fee is paid, they almost ignored me. I analyzed the report and compared with my own report from TaxAct.com and Turbo tax.com, I found several omissions and errors in the tax preparation by "Global Prime Taxation". Primarily, they have no clue how to handle HSA contributions, and Tax exemption codes.
When I questionned them about these omissions, they stopped responding to my messages, started ignoring my mails as I already paid the fee, and didn't bother to respond to my mails till the deadline is passed for filing taxes. I am sure they must be hunting new clints for milking money.
They started telling me some stupid reasons when I asked them to itemize my taxes. They have no clue how the taxation works in US as the tax preparors are based out of Bangalore, India.
As I had backup plan, luckily I filed my taxes in time using taxact.com.
