I believe since Global Services PSN A.K.A. Professional Savings Network is doing what:

Turn of the Century Adventure, Inc.; Turn of the Century Marketing, Inc.; Travelbridge International, Inc., d/b/a Travelbridge Air, Land, Sea, Ltd.; Travelbridge Partners, Ltd.; Travelbridge of North Texas, L.L.P.; Travelbridge of Dallas, L.L.P.; Travelbridge of South Texas, L.L.C.; Travelbridge of Texas, A Texas Joint Venture; Travelbridge of Texas, L.L.C.; Travelbridge of Illinois, L.L.C.; and BITS, L.L.C. do:

http://www.oag.state.tx.us/newspubs/
releases/2002/20020215travelbridge.htm

is doing because both companies offer the same "free" vacations from the same company, MINI VACATIONS, INC * Attn: MVI Air & Land Vacation for attending a Time Share presentation.

The free vacation appears to be a scam if you do a search of this "bad business bureau" website and look for MVI Air & Land Vacations or Mini Vacations.

The "free" vacation they offer you is from
MINI VACATIONS, INC * Attn: MVI Air & Land Vacation
410 Ware Blvd., 10th Floor * Tampa, Florida 33619

The brochure reads you are to put up a $50 per person refundable "good faith" money order deposit. There are no telephone numbers on the brochure.

If you happen to have already put sent them your "good faith" money order, this might help you to get your money back.

The fastest way to get back your money, sending an e-mail to:
bcummings@minivacations.com or/and lgordon@minivacations.com

If you are not satisfied with their responses, send your complain to Florida authorities.

Florida Department of Consumer Services created a special form for travel realated claims.

I would try and get your money back A.S.A.P.

I did the search on Google and found their website here:

http://www.minivacations.com/default.asp

E-mail: marketing@minivacations.com

Addresses:

- 410 Ware Boulevard

- Tampa, FL 33619

- 401 N. Cattlemen Road Suite 200

- Sarasota, FL 34232

Phone:

813.621.1400

Fax:

813.621.2596

However I found something still troubling about this "legitimate" self proclaimed "full service travel agency" and here's why.

The company states that one of it's clients is American Express: "American Express - Used as a gift with purchase."

Not true according to the American Express "Program Partners" program. Now, see what Membership Rewards OptionsSM points will earn with them. Simply click on the partner names below to review the rewards currently offered.

http://www48.americanexpress.com/en/docs?request_type=un_allpartners&linkid=3

Now why would a company that supposedly had an affiliation with American Express not accept the American Express Card.

Then I checked the other client stated affiliation.

Sears - Used as a gift with purchase or upgrade of a product

http://www.searsvacations.com/abou/index.asp

Again, Not true according to Sears.

or GTE (Verizon) ....

Alls I can say is if you get one of free vacations, I would throw it away and use your $100 towards a legitimate "full service travel agency" that has a toll free number.

Update...

F.A.Q.

"May I travel within 30 days?

A minimum of 30 days advance notice is required for processing.

http://www.travelmvi.com/special/buy.htm#

Supposedly, You have 30 days to cancel this fabulous vacation. But, the company requires you wait 30 days "for processing" til you're eligible; But, it gets more interesting than that: According to their "Terms & Conditions" paragraph 3, When you receive your "Reservation Request" form, you must select a day and mail it at least 90 days in advance of your departure date and the departure date can only be on a Tuesday or Wednesday. All other departure dates are subject to "a surcharge".

Hmmmm. So much for "....cancelling this contract without any penalty or obligation within 30 days from the date you give or send a signed contract and payment to Mini Vacations, Inc" because technically, you have to wait four months to find out if you're vacation has been approved/disapproved ! Good luck getting your refunable postal money order back.

What a deal ! You can sign up with a bunch of email addresses and give them out as Christmas presents and everyone will think you're rich !

Ain't that a Biatch ! And to think anyone would not want to take advantage of a free vacation.
