Global Tel Link, Global Tel*Link, GTL, correctionsgtl.com Sucks The Life Out Of Desperate Families Duluth And Denver Georgia and Colorado

I have been forced to use the services of Global Tel*Link since the summer of 2007. The practices of this company are ludicris and they should be sued by the thousands of people who have to use their services or go without talking to their loved ones.

My fiance' has been incarcerated in Georgia since Dec. 2006. In July of 2007 i was informed that Global Tel*Link was now in charge of my inmate phone calls and i have had nothing but problems ever since.

You never know how much these rip-off artists are going to charge you and when you call most of the people you talk with can barely speak english and want to argue with you about every little thing. You finally become so discouraged you hang up.

I have had to spend on average over $300.00 month just to talk with my fiance' for 15 mins once a day. I pay with debit so i never have an outstanding bill.
However, just this past week i put $30.00 on my account after i checked the web site to make sure that we had no other outstanding calls and my fiance' made ONE call and when i checked it today it said i was $6.00 over my limit!! We should have had at least 4 calls if they only charge the $5.50 for 15 mins. as they claim they do.
You NEVER know what they are going to charge you and you can never get a straight answer out of anyone.

I am so fed up with this company. And of course the various states that use their services won't help you with anything because they are getting a cut of the money we are spending just to be able to talk with our loved ones.

I have read numerous posts and reports about this company. Isn't there someone out there who will help us to bring them down and help us to obtain more affordable calls to our loved ones.

WE are not the ones who committed the crimes but we are the ones who are having to pay...and pay dearly we do!! I'm sick of this!!
