Craigslist Ripoff: Palm Springs Area. Individual known to use several ads for various types of businesses.
Goes by JR or JW, has screener when the number on the ad. when we called to ask about our money, the screener (a girl) denies.
types of business (usually called Grand Master or GM) Upholstery, automotive, windows, concrete, tree trimming, landscaping, insulation installation, mobile mechanic, painter, power wash.
Individual is very engaging and friendly. Clean cut and huge teethy smile. Gave us an estimate, took parts from our car, asked for money to cover cost of parts. Never returned. Screener will not pick up our calls. Had to tow our car to be repaired.
