Gold Coast Elite Services LLC Be Carefull or You Will Get Riped Off by John Szabo Boca Raton, Florida

I contacted, John Szabo of Gold Coast Elite Services LLC.  He presented himself as a mold remediation expert. Szabo also stated he had been doing this for a long time (over 15 years).  He wanted a copy of my mold report and to review it and provide feedback.  Szabo also wanted $340 to come out and assess my home situation.

I told him my mold report provided what was needed he insisted on looking at it.  I sent it to him and called him two days later. Szabo did not provide any feedback on my report instead all he wanted was the money to assess my situation (which already had been done in the report).  I told him I was not comfortable paying for an assessment without him providing more information on his assessment and feedback on my mold report.

I suggested to Szabo that I would prefer a initial walk through so he could inspect my situation and comment on it from a more accurate prospective.  I wanted a general idea of my options with him.

Szabo became upset, yelling at me on the telephone and telling me I am the one that waited to do this.  Szabo then called me an "A**" and then called me a "f***ing a**hole" when I suggested my mold report was confidential and I wanted him to destroy it from his records.  Which, he refused to do so.

I then hung up the phone. Szabo proceeded to call me back two more times.  I sent
him an email telling him to stop harassing me or I would file a police report.

Since this incident,  I have discovered he has only been in business for 4 years and mainly under the category of Carpet Cleaning.  Therefore, he lied about his 15 years of being in the mold remediation business.

Fortunately, I never signed a contract with him.  As you can see, that would have been a nightmare to get out of.  I would not recommend his company to anyone and would be very careful who you would choose to do the work.  I have several friends with the same negative experiences with other mold remediation companies, but they have signed contracts and cannot get out of them.
