Gold Medal Service Attempted to grossly overcharge for plumbing issue. East Brunswick New Jersey

I called Gold Medal Service for a simple plumbing issue.  I needed the kitchen faucet replaced and the kitchen sink unclogged.  The service technician tried to charge me $1245.00 for this service.  He was cocky and arrogant when I told him I thought that was way over priced.  He then offered for "fix" the broken faucet and snake the drain for $788.00, again way too over priced.  I sent him away, after paying the $31.03 for the service call.  A neighbor later helped me fix the faucet and unclog the drain--total cost of replacement faucet was $88 and my neighbor was able to simply unclog the sink without the use of a snake.

Gold Medal Service completely tried to rip me off, perhaps because I am a single mom, thinking I didnt know any better.  Shame om them!
