Granada Theatre Emporia Kansas unsafe, drugs, alcohol, ubusive, violence, no control over patrons, careless, Emporia, Kansas

On  Saturday, January 30th I went to the Starship Rock Concert.

WARNING! This place is unsafe, fire hazard, if you know anything about fire exits, code enforcements, bathroom conditions etc. Your really risking a lot here.

Everyone around me was smoking? Where was the enforcement? I could not find anyone.

I asked and asked, no one could be found.

Then the people started smoking pot, I was shocked, I asked for the manager, he said he was busy didn't have time and said " I don't think anyone smokes pot in here" and laughed.

In the bathroom was a lot of suspicious activity, from what I observed, these people were not interested in attending the concert, a source told me, "this is a place where drug dealings go on".

Again I went and told someone about this, nobody cared.

The sound was awful I mean AWFUL!

I have been to concerts all over the US, and they had a cracker box system that made the band sound like karaoke playing through a cereal box!

There was used condoms left inside the bathroom stall , but what bothered me most was the person behind me spilled their beers all over myself and my girlfriend, they laughed at me, said, gee too bad, why don't you  move?

I couldn't believe it! They asked ME to move, one guy then wanted to start a fight with me, and it was horrible, we left, we complained again, but nobody came to look into the problem, management doesn't care, your on your own.

But what really scared me was when I decided to leave to the exit doors for fire, they were locked.

With all these people in there, and smoking, imagine a FIRE!

I plan on reporting this to the authority's, in the meantime your at your own risk, don't expect ANYONE to help you.
