I received a letter with a check attached from Ronnie Ellison just last week for "grant money" to help pay off financial debt. Sounded "too good to be true", so figured I would go up to the bank it was issued at and ask, but decided to "google" them first. And here I am. The check looks legitimate so be very careful!
It seems this particular person has used a lot of differant company names to pull off this scam and has most recently been "in" Hawaii. Well folks...he has made his way to Las Vegas!
I "LOVE" the time line given of only 5 days to send him his commision, not allowing for HIS check to clear your bank first. Clever! But a dead giveaway to most.
I hope no one else has fallen for this lately. I noticed that most of the reports are older, so beware that this man (or company) is STILL out there. Tell your friends and family, because they are not just targeting people who have applied...we didn't and they still got our info somehow. Good Luck to all! Hope they catch "them" soon!
