I joined this company for about a week. Although my last sales was the highest and showed improvement. The sales manager told me that I had not improved and that the leaders has to take care of me. All this was bullshit! During the training for the first 6 days, one of the leaders told me that sales was not so important the important part was knowing how to sell. At my last day of the 6 day training I was asked to leave, they exploit people and make use of free labour beware! To my surprise one of the leaders who worked there 7 months was also sacked and he was puzzled as his sales was so good. Maybe he wasn't supposed to be given the manager role after 7 mths as promised. Phony company man. Beware!! Or risk working for free!!

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds
company avoids paying employees

I was employed temporarily in Granton. My stipulated termination date would be mid august due to other commitments. During my period of employment, I notice the company behaves unethically towards past employees - be it dismissed by the company or termination without prior notice. They would shun the phone calls made to enquire salary payment.
Before I was dismissed, they began to told me not to go work as there would not be ads in the papers (no calls to answer). This - I realised was to lessen the salary they already owe me as I was being paid daily. During the days I was told not to go work, they then sms-ed me that they will not be needing my services as they will be employing a full time permanent receptionist. All of these communication were made via sms, even those in the past - they seem to be unable to talk to me face-to-face. I guess this shows something.
They have now owe me my salary and promised commission for 1 month since my last day. I have been bugging them every week about this and they keep using the excuse of cheques and HQ to evade payment. When all of my previous payment were made using petty cash! since the company deals with selling of cards (done daily), there is no lack of ready cash which are used for salary payment!
What's more eerie is this- I went back once to collect things I left behind and also hoping I could get paid, I found out they have thrown away all the records for my commission!
Now I'm planning to lodge a proper complaint against them but I realised they have not given me any receipts/contracts whatsoever. I HAVE NO PROOF.

I joined the company but after my training on my last day I was not paid a cent for what they promised to be given a transport allowance. I had worked for free. I was told that I was not good enough and suitable.

I joined this company and when still under training I was asked to leave without a good reason and didn't get my transport allowance back. I worked for free.
