Sean Walker (with a thick Indian accent) called my husband's cell phone to offer him a personal loan of up to $8,000 for 10% APR through Green Payday for $244.50 payments for 36 months. After the second call, I asked some questions and was told this was through the Vanilla Reload Network program.
I asked him to send information to our email so we could look it over. The information sent was a loan agreement. The phone number was a landline in Longview, Washington but the address listed on the papers was in Washington, DC that belongs to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse. The zip code was incorrect on the paperwork.
This scam needs to be broadcast everywhere so people do not fall for it and lose their money.
