I am the owner of GreenMan's Grove at http://www.celticpagan.com. We've been doing business for several years and have a good reputation. By this customer's own admission, she missed the emails we sent to her about the item being on back order. We did send it out the moment it became available. We have a receipt from the postal service to attest to that fact.
The customer was on vacation for a MONTH, without notifying us she would not be present to receive the package. She said her 'roomates' would have taken care of it, so now there's a 3rd party involved that we just have to trust when they claim they didn't see any package.
But we still tried to please this customer by finding a suitable replacement for the item or a store credit for the amount of the purchase. We didn't feel that we should have to issue a full refund on an item we shipped, as we cannot be responsible for what happems to a package when the recipient is not there to receive it (for a month).
We finally agreed to put this behind us and issue a full refund, just to be done with this and still this customer is complaining and attempting to do our reputation harm on some odd vendetta (this is not the only place she has issued complaints) over a $15 tote bag! We've gone above and beyond reasonable customer service at this point, and we feel that this customer has been completely unreasonable even after we have agreed to refund the money on an item we shipped out.
Our business is a labor of love for us and providing good products and customer service is matter of pride. You can't please all of the people all of the time, but we do honestly try!
