I'm going to start by saying that this is my personal experience with this company if you had a good experience well then great for you, but I have not.  

This happened way back in mid August of 2010.  I was looking for a black and green tote bag with the Tree of life on it.  I found one on the GreenMan's Grove website.  It was for $15.99 plus shipping and handling.  I decided to get it.  I waited 2 and a half weeks before I contacted them that I had not received the bag.  So I had emailed them on their contact page.  They apparently emailed me to tell me that it was on back order, but I didn't receive the notice, so when I decided to call them, the lady that I spoke to said that she was expecting more in a couple of days and she will send it out to me when she gets it.  I said ok and I thanked her.  I went on a vacation for a month, but I was not worried about the bag being delivered should it needed to be signed for my roommates were there at the house.  I come back from my trip a month later, and no bag.  I called the next day and a man picked up as soon as I explained what I was looking for he passed me off to the lady that I had spoken to previously.  She knew my name and what I was calling for.  She swore that she sent it out, but "dang it" she didn't put a tracking number on it.  So she went in back to look through what she had and named of what she had trying to get me to change my mind.  I told her, "No thank you I want the bag that I purchased."  Then she tried to talk me into credit with the company.  I told her no thank you.  Come on if you don't get good service with a company why would you accept credit with them?  So she said again, "I will be getting more in a couple of weeks and I will call you and immediately send it to you." I said ok thank you and hung up.  

 

I waited patiently and I realize that the combined time of waiting for this bag was about to be 3 months!  I never received the bag and I never received a call.  Who thinks that 3 months is a ludicrous amount of time to wait for a bag?!  I do!  So I decided to emailed them on their site again and I left them a different email address and asked them to please respond back. I waited about a week and I checked both emails to make sure. No replies, so I called them and the phone whet to voice mail, so I left a message.  I waited 3 days to see if they would call me back.  Nothing.  I called again and it went to voice mail I didn't leave a message that time and I continued to wait.  Finally enough was enough I emailed them on their site and I told them that I no longer wanted the bag and that I would like my money back, please contact me back.  I also called them and told them the same thing to see if I would get anything from either contact. Nothing!  Hello... what is the since of having contact information if you do not plan on contacting your customers back?  So I went to the BBB and filed a report.  They didn't even send a statement to the BBB ( they already failed to leave a statement), so the BBB is going to give them a second chance until the 4th of December to send something.  What's going to happen after that, I don't know, but I need to get my money back.



So correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone takes your money for a purchase and they no longer have that item then they need to give the money back!  They do not have the right to keep it.  That is stealing and seeing how I do not have a refund or the bag I purchased then they ripped me off!  Oh and another thing, if they no longer have the item then they need to stop selling the item on website or put something on the picture that says that it's out of stock or on back order. If you look on the site you'll see the bag for sale, but guess what?  I don't have one.



 If anyone else has had a problem with this company then let's get together and try and sue them cause $15 a pop can add up to a lot.  If you want the stuff you purchased then don't go there.  Bad customer service, and they keep your money regardless.

I am the owner of GreenMan's Grove at http://www.celticpagan.com. We've been doing business for several years and have a good reputation. By this customer's own admission, she missed the emails we sent to her about the item being on back order. We did send it out the moment it became available. We have a receipt from the postal service to attest to that fact.

The customer was on vacation for a MONTH, without notifying us she would not be present to receive the package. She said her 'roomates' would have taken care of it, so now there's a 3rd party involved that we just have to trust when they claim they didn't see any package.

But we still tried to please this customer by finding a suitable replacement for the item or a store credit for the amount of the purchase. We didn't feel that we should have to issue a full refund on an item we shipped, as we cannot be responsible for what happems to a package when the recipient is not there to receive it (for a month).

We finally agreed to put this behind us and issue a full refund, just to be done with this and still this customer is complaining and attempting to do our reputation harm on some odd vendetta (this is not the only place she has issued complaints) over a $15 tote bag! We've gone above and beyond reasonable customer service at this point, and we feel that this customer has been completely unreasonable even after we have agreed to refund the money on an item we shipped out.

Our business is a labor of love for us and providing good products and customer service is matter of pride. You can't please all of the people all of the time, but we do honestly try!
