Greentree Financing rude, unprofessional, St Paul Minnesota

4 years ago after just getting out of the hospital I received a call from a gentleman wanting to know where my home was located they needed to repossess it. After my husband almost had a heart attack I spoke with this man who said we had not made this months payment. I told him he was wrong that I had called and made this payment on the first. He said that he would look into it and call me back, I then called the bank and they confirmed that the check had cleared the bank. He called back and still did not have it and when I told him that it had cleared the bank he dug a little further and found that they had applied it to my second mortgage. The whole time I was talking to him I was made to feel like a liar. Also I knew by law that he could not just come and get my home for one payment being late. I ask to speak to his manager and was told he was not in he would have him call. Needless to say I never received a call nor did I recieve an apolgy.

Just recently I had one of their flunkies call and tell me that I needed to do a check by phone. According to my mortgage I have until the 15th before I accrue late fees, and since I get paid twice a month sometimes it is the 15th before I pay. This was the 10th when she called. She was speaking with my husband and he told her that I had online banking and that the check would be there on the 15th. She started ranting at him so he hung up. It rang again immediately so I picked up and told her the same thing my husband did. She basically called me a liar and said that there was no way my bank would have it there by the 15th and that I had to make the payment to her that night in order to get it paid by the fifteenth. After arguing with her for a few minutes I hung up after telling her our conversation was over.

I have stories also on the insurance but as you can see I'm tired of this company if I could I would finance with a different company.
