GTE Federal Credit Union/Scott Brooks GTEFCU Auto Advisor ripoff Odometer rolled back to qualify me for loan Tampa Florida

On April 8th 2003 I purchased a 1993 Ford Explorer for my son From Scott Brooks a GTEFCU auto Advisor, I made this purchase with a loan from the GTEFCU that Scott Brooks was employed by the loan was based on 65% of the NADA book value, as it turns out there was no book value because when I received the title 10 days later the mileage was exceeding mechanical limits and after checking with the DMV and CARFAX I discovered that the vechicle had 130,000 miles on in back in 1998.

Scott reported for the purposes of the loan that the car had 93,000 miles on it which gave the car a book value of 5825.00 but the bank claims the Auto advisors is a seperate entity and therefore they have share no responsibilty in Scotts lie to us. Scott Brooks office was located directly across from my loan officer, his friend Lisa Reho and together they got my loan approved to purchase Scott's own private vechicle.

Another reason the bank says they are not responsible, because I met Scott after working with another auto advisor Bill Rybinski, who kept sending me to used car dealerships, and therefore I was having no luck comming up with the downpayment they wanted. Scott had the inside info, the bank does not want to help me, I have reported to the BBB,(the sent me letter I already had from the bank - No help) Channel 8 on your side (no response yet) but I'm hopefull.

I also sent a letter of complaint to Tallahassee explaining this. No answers yet. I have all documentation, including e-mails from Scott Brooks sent to me directly from the GTEFCU fax machines and on it he indicates the mileage as being 93,000. This is Fraud!!!! And best of all the car has leaked oil all over my brand new drive way and wont drive more that 5-10 miles without breaking down, it is a total piece of junk that GTEFCU is requiring me to hold full insurance coverage on! PLEASE HELP!!!!!
