Harris J/ Brooks & Company ,Savrin Associates, Filed false tax return, Filed extension with our consent, Failed to report earnings Southampton Pennsylvania

WARNING:  Do not trust this accountant.  He is deceptive, he does things without clients' consent and files false tax returns.  He may even sign your name without your knowing.  I have had many red flags along the way, and because Harris Brooks is such a slick talker, I continued to trust him even when I knew I shouldn't have.  I was sorry.  I my particular case, Mr. Brooks filed extensions without my consent, and in the final case, lied about filing my personal and corporate returns.  After numerous attempts to find out whay I never received a refund that he told me was forthcoming, I contacted the IRS directly. They had no record of any returns being filed, and only after painstaking callas to the service, I finally found out that an extension was filed, unbeknownst to me.  Harris J. Brooks told me that my return was filed electronically, however he conveniently "could not find" the receipt of filing.  After 6 months of getting the runaround from him (unanswered messages, lies, etc.), he finally said that he was sending another return by mail.  When I asked him when I could come in and sign it, he told me that he signed it for me.  What kind of accountant conducts this illegal, fraudulent and utterly professional behavior?  Conseqently, I requested the  certified mail receipt and was told that he "had to find it." Of course, needless to say, I never received it.  I had to pay another accountant to clean up the mess he put me and my company in, and have suffered thousands in fees and penalties from his lies, deceipt and blatant lack of action on my behalf.  If you ever have the misfortune of visiting his office, you will find piles and piles of paperwork strewn all over the floor and his desk.  I mean so much paperwork, it seems virtually impossible that he has any system of filing and organization at all.  Spare yourelf the grief that I and my family have been put through, and find another tax preparer at any cost!
