Headliner Tickets (aka Tickets My Way) Money paid but no tickets arrive, sound familiar??? Las Vegas Nevada

Well it looks like I am one of many people who have been ripped off by this company.

I purchased two concert tickets through their website. I received a confirmation back but I did not realize that at the bottom of the confirmation they said that my credit card billing address was different to the delivery address. They had 1289 but it should have been 1489 (I find it hard to believe that I typed the number in wrongly as I always check all the details thoroughly).

They said in the mail that I must "fax a copy of your ID, credit card used to place this order, and a hand written note stating "I authorize Tickets My Way to charge my credit card (amount of tickets), and send the tickets to the noted address" and sign the bottom of the note and fax it to-(702)251-7470, in order for us to mail the tickets to the desired address."

I find this a very unusual business practice and wonder if this is a scam to obtain your credit details and id to con even more money from you!

I did not want to do what they were asking so I tried to call them but all their phones are disconnected and I got an email bounce back from their sales address saying mailbox full. I tried another 3 email addresses but have not had any reply.

Their website says "is a member of the Better Business Bureau and holds an outstanding record." so I contacted them to put in a complaint today.

I am very upset at the loss of my money and missing a concert that I have been looking forward too.

This has made me very wary of buying items over the internet, especially from companies that I have never dealt with. I will definitely be checking companies credentials a lot more in the future. The concert is tonight so will be sitting in the house feeling sorry for myself instead of enjoying a great night out because of this unscrupulous and fraudulent company!
