HealthPort Technologies unauthorized payroll deductions, sick leave and vacation limitations Alpharetta, Georgia

I also have had bad experiences working for HealthPort.  When I was commissioned they would bill the customer for the copies of the medical records.  I received a commission which was a percentage of total weekly records I copied and completed.  If the customer failed to pay their invoice for the medical records, HealthPort would deduct it without my permission from my paycheck.  This went on for about 2 years until they put everyone on hourly rate. I lost thousands of dollars.

When I first started working for HealthPort I received 5 sick days and two weeks vacation a year.  After a few years I noticed I was only accruing 2 sick days and a few hours of vacation.  You are not permitted to use the vacation unless you give them at least 2 weeks notice and you can only use what has been accrued.  So say you want to take a 2 week vacation in March.  No can do - you don"t have your full two weeks accrued to use until the end of the year!

I have worked for a variety of employers during my lifetime and I must say, HealthPort is the worst,  They treat their employees like crap.  In all the years I have worked for them I have never even gotten a Christmas card, let alone a gift or bonus.  If jobs were not so hard to come by I would have left them long before I did
