Was referred to a doctor by mine. Was asked by this doctor for permission to request my patient record from my doctor. I signed off on this. I was not informed there would be a fee for this service. Subsequently I was billed by Healthport for the service. Healthport refused to submit the bill to my insurance company and threatened to submit to a collection agency.
