I've been renting this apartment since 12/04 and in the time since then the ONLY way to get any maintenance done around here is to find Brad (maintenance man) and directly ask him. I've reported my leaking ceiling several times to the property manager and it has not been repaired. I'm now the proud owner of a waterlogged 27" Sanyo television, TV stand, Playstation 2, and several other items. Last night's hurricane reminants caused MAJOR water damage due to the leaking, and it was repaired today ONLY because I asked Brad to repair it. The manager of these 2 properties fails to report maintenance issues to the maintenance crew to avoid paying maintenance costs.
I was also told during an apartment inspection that I would be charged the cost of replacing my carpet due to pet stains that I could not clean. I thought that was what a pet deposit / pet fee was for!!!! Regardless I finally found a product that would clean these stains (thank you !!!) and got out of the hefty carpet replacement charge.
I am not sure if this DALCOR MANAGEMENT is associated in any way the one in Plano, TX but if it is... please, for your pocketbooks sake, FIX YOUR APARTMENTS!!!!

In response to Jonathan's accusations; yes he did have a ceiling leak from roof damage which was after Hurricane Katrina hit our area. The ceiling was repaired. As to the pet deposit, the pet deposit was kept and the additonal charge for the carpet was charged against him for repalcement of the carpet due to being completely destoryed by his pet.
