The Pastor's wife in our church told us that she was a distributor selling the Herbalife weight loss products.  She said that if we bought the product from her versus going to the store that the cost would be cheaper.  My wife and I decided to buy the products from her to shut her up as she kept on harrassing us into buying.  We bought 4 products: 3 shake mixes (Vanilla, Chocolate and Pina Colada and one bottle of Garden Z).  She told us that she can only accept cash for these products because it is easier for her to process the order; we believed her since she is our Pastor's wife.  She called with the total; $161.13.  I thought it was a little high but trusted her and asked her for a receipt.  I had to ask several times prior to receiving the product and several times after we received the product which was placed on our porch in an open box without a receipt, packing list, invoice and no packing material inside the box, just the 4 bottles that we ordered.  I received a receipt in the mail about a week later hand written and conveinantly in the amount of $161.13 and the receipt was made out to my wife; not me; the person who presented the order.  I had asked several times for not only the receipt but for the packing list and the invoice from the box it was sent in; both of which I never received.  While waiting for my receipt I inquired about the cost of these products in several Herbalife outlet stores as well as several other people she has sold product to and I was shocked to find out that we were severly overcharged.  I think it is sad that a Pastor's wife has to lower herself into making a buck but ripping off people who go to the same church where her husband preaches and not to mention falsely represent the Herbalife products to the consumer.
