I ordered a recliner for my office from Heyneedle which advertised the best price and shipping the following day. I always read Terms & Conditions which stated free delivery on this item satisfaction guaranteed or a full refund if the problem was the companies.

5 days went by so i contacted Heyneedle by phone since their on-line delivery tracking system did not recognize my order number. Took about 20 minutes to talk to someone. I was subsequently informed that my order had not shipped at this point but they would look into it. I informed their agent that their web-site stated that this item shipped the very next day. His statement was that he would contact the out of state warehouse. I was then informed that the chair would be shipped between the 9th and 21st but yet the order was placed on the 12th of November and here it was the 17th of November. I decide to cancell since the order was not yet shipped let alone delivered.

I was switched to another department that took approximately 10 minutes and talked with Sarah ext. 4052 which stated that if i cancelled their would be a $70.00 charge to my credit card which they charged immediately after i placed my initial order. I asked her if she knew her companies terms and conditions which she stated she did. I asked her then why would there be a cancellation charge if the item was never shipped and she replied it was their policy.

Bottom line is, if you read their web-site terms and conditions and delivery times every word is untrue!

Went to Lazy Boy in Glenview yesterday got the same price and promised delivery today.
