H.O.L.A. Hola rescue AKA Moondoggies Rescue, AKA Whiskers, Wiggles & Wags Inc. were all started by Megan Nunez, formerly Megan Choate. She's had a sordid criminal past and has been running this "style" of business since 2007. Moondoggies Rescue and Whiskers, Wiggles & Wags were both registered as Nevada non-profit corporations in 10/11 & 02/12, both registrations have been  terminated and in Whiskers, Wiggles & Wags case, due to a bad check.

H.O.L.A. in my experience is a more evolved version of the two previously stated rescues. As time as progressed Megan has become more skilled in her ability to set up shop around the holidays and shut down as soon as all money and animals have been collected. She has several aliases which all originate from the same IP address and utilize the same email account. Her phone number for future contact is (562) 208-5973 a Sprint cellular phone. 

In the past with the aforementioned rescues she created the "house of cards" legitimately but now she allegedly figures that nobody was going to do anything about her contracts anyway and just collects the money and hides until the next holiday season. 

Prior to moving to Santa Ana, CA she lived in  Long Beach,Huntington Beach,Cerritos,Los Alamitos,Huntington Park,Tustin,Ladera Ranch,Downey,Irvine,Corona,Goleta and Cedar City. She was previously married to Dennis Choate and divorced in UT but is now in a loving relationship with Louis Nunez. 

I'm certain that all of you have met Megan but she has likely used a fictitious name in each of your meetings yet she'll always show up in a vehicle with a license plate from the state of Utah. Anybody else pick up on that?

H.O.L.A. is now a debunked rescue. It is now to be our job, come the holidays, to make sure she doesn't do  this to anyone else. So, monitor craigs  list, Petan go and PetF inder and post online ads when you see any resemblance of her wording, advertisements or photos and help whomever should come in contact with her.

Legal proceedings are being filed within the coming days and hopefully she will be in jail or prison by the holidays and maybe finally she will learn the errors of her ways due to the heavy hand of the law.
