This company is a TOTAL ripoff. the only phone number on our bill is an automated account information, we cannot get in touch with a live person. Over the last 18 months we have paid 720.00 dollars on a 300.00 credit limit, and have only used the card ONE time in 2 years. I have faithfully sent in the payments, being late only once, to the best of my knowledge, and our balance hasn't moved, it has only gone UP!!!!

I didn't send in the payment last month because I became suspicious of them. They have started calling my house at about 9 am every morning. A rep. called yesterday, so I put my husband on the phone with him, so my hubby told him that they were ripping us off and we weren't paying another dime. The rep. told us to send 200.00 and it would be paid off. The balance on the statement is 382.83.

So if this company is legit, why only ask for 200.00? Like I read in another report, may God bless their souls, because they are lying thieves!!!!

WoW There are more effective ways of dealing with your problem rather than not paying the bill

AUTHOR: Alesia - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 24, 2005

I am a HouseHold Bank card user. The number listed on your bill is an automative number; however, when you call, you are given a toll free number to call. The toll free number will allow you to acess your account information and it will also give you options to speak with a representative.

There are more effective ways of dealing with your problem rather than not paying the bill. That in the long run will adversely effect you-not the company. If you are disputing your bill, you must do so in writing. In that way, the amount you are disputing does not have to be paid at that time. However, it appears at this point, that you have waited too long to envoke that rule.

The company is legit. If what you say is true - you have paid more than 720.00 on an account where the limit has only been 300.00. If your outstanding balance is 382.00 and you pay 200.00 (which is more than 50% of the remaining balance) the company has more than made their profit. Stop being angry and think about logically.
