I had submitted a poem in 2004 to International Library of Poetry. I was told I had won as a semi-finalist & needed to do nothing to have my poem published in a book. But.....I was sent papers saying the book would be published in the spring with a whole page dedicated to my poem & to please send my artists profile to be put on the opposite pg. of my poem. There would be prizes and recognition for the semi-finalist and I also had a chance to be a grand prize winner.

I was elated with this and saved the paper work & ordered a plaque with my poem on it. For the low price of $39.00 & $9.00 shipping I would get my poem back on the plaque. Also my poem would be entered into a book to be published that spring. The book was $49.00 & $9.00 shipping.

I then heard NO more from this society. I recieved NO book or any prize for my being a semi-fialist. I did recieve the plaque, which by the way was not worth $50.00 at all. This was a big rip-off. Making people believe they have talent & won contests & actually all they want is your hard earned money.

Recently I submitted another poem and was sent the exact same thing. I am a semi-finalist again for my poem "Waves of Love" which by the way will be in the book entitled "Immortal Verses" due to be published this spring. I can not believe this happens over & over again. The first time it was shame on me!!! This time, I will not send any money, and I can bet you I will not recieve my prize for being a semi-finalist or anything else. Please put a stop to this farce!!
