Beware, Beware, Beware. In April of 2008 I entered into what I thought was a lagitimate business venture, not to get rich quick, but to start a business which I could grow. I speedway sounded like it was the one for me.

I ordered the start up material and was very impressed. Again this sounded like it was the one for me. I was contacted by a sales person who was ready to take my money (over 4000 dollars of it). I speedway created my web site and helped me get my on-line domain, loaded it with products.

I was there, so I thought. In looking through the products that was offered on line. It was mainly stuff that I could go to my local store and buy at a much cheaper price. Also there were items on there that unless your a fool with your money you would not buy on line. For instance a $7000-$10,000 dialmond ring. I guess depending on the size of your finger. Ladies swimware $450.00. Now come on, who in there right mind is going to pay that for a swim suit. Ok there may be a few but not the majority of us.

I started replacing the products with other products from Warehouse Direct. These were items that were overpriced but the average person could buy.

I made a few calles to I Speedway to see what I could do to boost my business and right away I was told about the coaching program they offer. Now get this, one time I called I was told the coaching program was $7,000, yes thats right $7,000. When my heart started beating again I informed the person that I had already invested all my savings and did not have the money for coaching. They couldnt believe I didnt have the money just sitting there waiting for them to get there hands on it. I informed the person on the other end of the line that I already invested $4000 I was not about to give them another $7,000. That conversation ended real quick.

I started to notice that the hits to my site started to drop off after that conversation. Oh let me back up a for a brief statement. I speedway did tell me in that conversation that I should advertise my website and use Ebay.

Getting back to the hits on my site. I watched this for a month. Made some listings on Ebay. Nothing. In all fairness I have to say Ebay is a good company and this artical is not meant to slam them in anyway. I made yet another phone call to I Speedway. I again was hit with the coaching scam. Now get this. The person I talked to on the phone this time told me coaching was only going to cost me $1700. Lets see $7000, now down to $1700 whats wrong with this picture. I'm no math major but I do know that is a big difference in cost. I informed the person on the phone what I was quoted before and the coversation changed quickly.

Bottom line is I had over 100,000 visits to my site without one sale. Thats right not one sale. When I closed my site I didnt even get to keep the web site I paid over $4000 to I speedway.

I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want to loose the money you have. I would love to recoupe my money back and invest it in the lottery or a casino. I would have a better chance of making money.

ISpeedway is a Scam

AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 16, 2009

I used to work for ISpeedway at the office in the Bank of America building on Alma School and Southern Mesa, Arizona. I was a retention rep there for a few months. The prices that these people offer all all true, and they are all wrong. I have working for a few different Web hosting and Website setup company before and the prices don't even come close to comparison. What they call their "Platinum", "Gold", and "Silver" store are complete CRAP! I could make a better website than the photoshoped and copy/paste crap they do with HTML!

Not only did they sell the "Super Stores" as they call it, but they sold the 45 day trial for 9.95 where it gives you about 5% access to the store for which what items you get to choose from. Now get this, any time u want to cancel this is where I came into play. Lets say you only had the so called program for 30 days, any person knows how long mail takes, you dont want to get charged the 5 package payments for 69.99, I was required as a retention rep to off and addition 15 days ontop of that. Now if that was not the case and lets say that you were 6 days out of your trial and you get charged one of the 5 package payments, I would have to tell you that you are responsible for the remaining 4. Then the wanted me to off what they called a "Bronze" store where we would build you the site. This site was stored on a hard drive and anyone who got this site GOT THE SAME EXACT ONE! Also anytime you post something on Ebay or anything I have seen hundreds of cases where YES a person did get a sale. but due to the cost of the item and Ebays cut, they LOST money.

Heres a tip for anyone that has actually been caught in those payments or payed the 700 - 9000 dollar store, just say you are going to report them to the BBB, Rip off Report, Attorney General, or a Charge back and they will refund your money. They are so close to losing their right to accept Credit cards its not even funny. They have even went to the BBB to get this unsatisfactory rating changed and they were denied, twice since I last worked there.

I no longer work there due to MY CHOICE. I was not fired or layed off, I quit. I was sick of making people pay for something that I knew would not make them any more. every time I saw someone with a super store I would just cancel and refund because it was usually an elderly person that did not know better. For any of you that talked to me I want to make a formal apology for following that company's policy's and making you believe in something that cannot help you.
