ILD Teleservices Inc Liberty Online Services ripped off with unauthorized charges to phone bill Miami Florida

I got my Bellsouth phone bill today and found a charge of 32.95 added to my bill from Liberty Online Services. A month or so agfo, someone called me and told me I had been selected for a FREE add in the Online Yellow Pages for 1 month.

They said that if I wanted to continue to keep the service, it would cost $29.95 a month, but I had to call before the 30-day trial was over to continue. I asked if the charge was automatic unless I called within the first 30 days and he said NO. I had to call in order to keep the ad running, otherwise, my ad would be removed from their service.

I asked him a second time, "So, I have to call the 800 # in my welcome package, if I want to continue the service or it will automatically cancel, right?" He said, "Yes, if you don't call and verbally tell us to continue the service, you will not be charged!"

Well that is bull! I never called and STILL GOT CHARGED. I pay my bell south bill online and had already paid my bill, when I decided to see what the charge was for.

My son just got a new cell phone, so I thought it might be his monthly charge. When I typed in Liberty Online Services into my netscape search, I found this ripp-off sight.

Boy was I ever mad! There is a law against willfully and intentionally misleading consumers in such a manner. Witrh all the rip-off reports already filed, it should also be a crime the the Attorney Generals in evry state this has already happened in, hasn't shut these people down or at least made them reimburse every single person who has filed such a report and FINED them VERY harshly, just to show other fraudulent companies that this kind of consumer theft WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

The Attorney General's JOB is to protect the consumers from things just like this! This is our government at work for US as usual.
