I have had a car loan with this company for 3 years which I obtained through Oak Motors in Anderson, Indiana.

I challenged any other consumers who have dealt with this company to come forward and make your complaints known.

Their Mission Statement reads:

Indiana Finance Company/Indiana Finance Financial Corp. is committed to providing financing to individuals with distressed credit for dependable transportation.

We will build value for our customers by providing outstanding service, while treating them with the utmost respect.

Please note the second paragraph of their Mission Statement.  This is a LIE.

First of all this company treats you like a "collection agency" NOT a financial loan company.  Each member of their staff will call themselves an "account manager."  They will call you immediately the day after your payment is due and will continue to call you each day at any phone number you have provided (or HAVE NOT provided, such as calling from a friend or relative's cell phone - watch out they'll take that down from their caller ID).

I have had these "account manager's" call me on both my cell and work number AT THE SAME TIME each day until I call them back. I have had them call a previous employer (from five years ago, NOT listed on my original loan application).  Keep in mind that these practices are implemented when you are 1 to 10 days late on ONE payment.

The "account manager's" are rude and incompetent.  They will ask you your circumstances but nothing is ever documented.  The next "account manager" that calls if you're late again knows nothing of these "circumstances" you've discussed with your "account manager" before and you are forced to relay the entire situation once more.

If you look at their website: www.indianafinance.net you will find no roster of employees, no managers, no supersivors to contact with a complaint.

I have wanted to seek an attorney for advisement but have no funds to do so.  I know that these people are infringing on our rights as consumers and taking advantage of people with poor credit who have been led to this company.

I know that there are more customers such as myself who have been treated with disrespect by this company.  Speak up now!  Perhaps something can be done to investigate this corporation's collection practices.
