I paid my initial balance towards a college Spring Break trip, when I was notified by e-mail that I needed to pay almost one hundred extra dollars immediately or else I would be charged with late fees. It turns out that this money was toward a "VIP package"- (which was barely anything besides the basic trip) that I never signed up for. I sent in the money and called to figure out why I was being charged additional money. I talked to the highest supervisor I could find and was told simply that any money I had sent to them was completely non-refundable. I was scammed into paying for something that I never signed up for. 
This business is unclear, misleading, and run by what must be 24 year old frat boys who drink cheap beer and have farting contests all day.

 I was treated miserably on the phone. The supervisor, whose name is Chris in case you run into him in the future, talked to me like I was four years old. He used condescending language and made it clear that my problems were of absolutely no concern to him or Inertia Tours. When I told him of my plans to file complaints and look into the company with outside help, he told me in a smug tone that no one would help me. Then he hung up on me.
I hope that no one else has to go through the frustration that I just went to with this scam of a company.

  • The $100 in question is for an intial downpayment deposit which comes off the price of our trips


  • The Party Package added was actually added by the user, not by our Firm. This person (R. F) fails to mention this fact


  • The person in this complaint then added (herself, not by our company) the package, and PAID HERSELF online using her own card


  • Later, she called attempting to obtain a refund for which she was denied. Our website not only discloses this not one, not twice, but three times. Additionally, our site automatically emailed you a copy of the no refund policy at time of booking


  • No one in our Company is in Fraternity in our office (therefore cannot be a Frat boy); we do not drink cheap beer unless you consider Bud Light a cheap beer, then "guilty as charged."


  • We do not hold "farting contests in our office although people probably do occassionally fart as is the norm amongst human beings


  • The party pacakge has a 7 year track record of being added by 95% of our traveling clientele.It eliminates costly cover charges, waits in pay lines, and add (2) side activity trips with a value of up to $50 each (for example, a surfing lesson is a choice and if you call around down here, you would discover it does in fact cost $50 for just that one side trip. Other choices include the party yacht cruise, thriller jet boat ride, eco dolphin watch tour, luxe tanning session, and the pool party by Rockstar.

This person was "hung up on" after repeatedly warned to stop dropping F bombs when her attempt to threaten & bully us to accept her own shopping malfuncations to the financial detriment of our firm.

If she didn't want it, why did she add it?
If she didn't want it and accidently added it, why did she then also pay for it? Why did she click "I agree to the terms & conditions?"

All questions we don't have the answer to.
