Integretel Fraudulent Voicemail Billing Ripoff San Jose California

After reading my February Verizon bill, I noticed an unauthorized charge by Integretel, Inc. This charge, for $15.74 plus fed & state taxes (total $17.16) was for "residential voicemail". I never ordered or used such a thing.

After calling the company, they named my niece and said she had ordered the service. She said she didn't. Even if she had, the bill is not in her name or under her credit and should not be charged. If that's the case, we're all in trouble because anyone out there can be ordering services to put on our bills.

The company refused to refund my money, but Verizon credited me and supposedly blocked me from 3rd party billing.

Lo and behold, with this month's bill, I am again charged a fee for Integretel! This time it is for $13.22 (total $14.42). I again called the 1-800 number. I told them I paid the bill last time, and cancelled the fraudulent service, so why am I AGAIN being charged? They gave some excuse about billing... it was billed before I called the 1st time.

That's complete bull$hit. What kind of scam is this? Apparently, if you ever fill out a form & list a phone number (i.e. contest or sweepstakes entry), they are getting your information and billing fraudulently.

I will file every official complaint that I can, because this company must be stopped. I don't understand why they are still operating with the numerous complaints and suits that have been filed.
