Robert Willis called me at least 5 or 6 times before I agreed to pay International Timeshaer Network a fee to advertise and sell my timeshare unit. He was patient and persistent. He sounded very knowledgable about FL timeshare market. He made representations that this company is legitimate and his sales agent would actively sell our unit.
He told me our unit would be sold easily within 90 days. He actually told me that this company sold most timeshare units within 90 days. Robert mentioned most large corporations buy timeshare units and use them for trade shows instead of having employees stay at hotels. Poor eccomony helps sales of timeshare properties.
After I paid the fee, I heard nothing from this company. I called the customer service after 90 days and inquired of the status. No offers. I was told, then, that poor economy slows down the sale of timeshare units. Wait, Robert said poor economy helped us! They also alledged that their teams are attending all trade shows and conventions to sell my unit.
But there is NO proof. Another 6 months past, I still heard no offers. I called again and was told my asking price was too high. I asked them if that was the case, why hadn't anyone on their sales team contact me to lower my price? After all, the asking price was set up based on Robert Wills' advice.
The above truly showed that this company cares little about selling properties. They can't prove what they do to market my property, except a generic webpage which attracts no traffic. For that, I paid $1,300.
Based on their passive response to what they actually did to sell my unit, I knew my money was cheated. There are only 2 women in customer service department who are rude and talk over customers. They were loud and sounded impatient when I inquired of updates. Their phone etique was subpar.
Avoid this company - it is a fraud.
