Ironwood Communications Dba DirectTV Dishonest Company, Deceptive Business Practices, Unreliable Service BoiseNampa Idaho

I am a DirectTV subscriber. I called DirectTV to schedule my move to Idaho and to have my service transferred for free as advertised on television. DirectTV informed me that there would be a $50 "upgrade fee" to have my service moved to another city because I had not been a customer for at least one year. After agreeing to pay the fee, I scheduled my install. The soonest they could arrange for my service to resume was 2 weeks.

Two weeks later, I am waiting for the service tech to arrive and install my dish. The tech never arrives. Therefore, I telephoned DirectTV and asked what the dealio was. They told me that the tech reported that my address was not found on Mapquest. I told them that my home was built circa 1910 and that it was most certainly on the map. In fact, I live on the third oldest road in Boise. That said, they agreed to have the tech call me. Two hours & no phone call later, I telephoned DirectTV again. The customer service rep gave me the number to their contractor, Ironwood Communications. I telephoned this company and was told that the technician had arrived on time, but that nobody was home. My wife became very angry at that line of BS and got on the phone with them. She told the person that we had been waiting almost 6 1/2 hours for them to show. They hung up on her. We then called DirectTV and did a 3-way with these scumbags at which point Ironwood lied again stating that they were unable to get in contact with the rep. DirectTV hung up on us two times while all of this was happening. Bottom line, Ironwood Communications is operated by some of the most dishonest, manipulative d****e-bags that you are likely to encounter outside of the DMV. DirectTV isn't a hell of a lot better. Caveat Emptor!
