Over a month ago I paid Michael Brown over $2500 to build a CPN and add 3 trade lines. Paid through googlecheckout through a company called CPN's R US. Gave him some time to work it. I had multiple conversations with the guy and thought everything was cool he was local so no bog deal. tried calling him didn't return calls. Emailed him no response. texted him no response. talked to my referrals, No RESPONSE. So went to track the guy down today. Not at his office of record.
Ran all over Scottsdale through different channels trying to find him. houses, previous addresses. partners houses. partners phone numbers. his voice mail box is full.

we think him and cpnrus.com are in it together.

Michael Browns phone number 602-999-3446

He said he owned a mortgage company called Ironwood Lending. Doesn't exist!

Ironwood Capital does but no 411 on it.

He said he also owned a company called Ironwood Credit. Doesn't exist!

SCAM

He is about 6'1-2" African American with a slight hispanic look. Bald. plays basketball down at LA Fitnesses. Where I met him.

What else is there to say......... If you know where he is leave it on the board I would love to pay him a visit.

Please remove Ironwood Lending from your report

AUTHOR: Brent Mcdonald - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 10, 2008

I'm the president and owner of Ironwood Lending which closed this past June as a result of difficulty in the marketplace.

My name is Brent McDonald and I can be reached by phone at 602-549-7090.

It appears that you have been a victim of this Michael Brown character. This is unfortunate and sad.

At no time during Ironwood Lending's seven year history did we employee anybody named Michael Brown and neither the address nor the phone number you listed in your report are familar to me.

Ironwood Lending, Inc. was a mortgage brokerage, not a credit repair company and never offered credit repair services.

From my 11 years experience as a loan officer and leader in the industry I have observed that most of those credit repair outfits are scams. If you think about it, the business is unethical. They sold you on the notion that they could somehow remove truthful deragatory information on your report and add positive tradelines that do not really belong to you is dishonest.

I encourage you to remove Ironwood's good name from your complaint. It sounds like this Michael Brown Character is the true villan.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Michael Brown is in no way connected to Ironwood Lending

AUTHOR: Brian - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, July 28, 2008

I think I can help here. I was an employee of Ironwood Lending in Scottsdale from 2004 until the company closed in June 2008. I have never heard of a Michael Brown. There was never such a person employed at Ironwood Lending. It appears that he used the name of Ironwood Lending but that would make Ironwood as much of a victim in this as yourself. I hope you can find him and report him to the proper authorities. Good luck in your search but please do not include Ironwood Lending's name in your posted complaints. I would work with you to verify that there is no such person who was ever employed if there was possibly a way. You may contact me if you feel it necessary.

Ironwood Lending

I have worked with Michael on several occasions over the last 2-3 years and had nothing but good results for my clients. I am a Realtor and the market has been tough the last 12 months getting my clients qualified for home loans, so his office has done a good job for my clients. I know that Ironwood Lending is located somewhere in Phoenix, because my clients have done their home loans with the company. I haven't spoken to him or the company recently, I know that some of the things he did with my clients credit were so unbelievable, that I didn't ask how it was done. My clients didn't care either because he had a foreclosure on his credit and he got the house he wanted.

I've worked with several credit repair companies in the past and he was the only one that really came through.
