I.R.R., Inc. Aka Travel, Inc. Major SCAM Fern Park Florida

I got a fax at work regarding vacation packages to Cancun, Cabo San Lucas and other resorts. All inclusive they say. I called and asked questions, as far as how come so cheap, is it a scam, etc. They assured me that it was legit and that they were competing with Orbitz and Expedia. I paid just under $700 for the 2 of us to go to Cabo San Lucas. They said I had to wait for the packet to arrive and then I would need to make reservations not less than 45 days ahead of time.

We got the brochure and the letter stated we were going to Cabo San Lucas but the brochure forms to fill out were for Cancun. I called them and they assured me that we were in their system showing for Cabo San Lucas and just to fill out the Cancun form and they would know where we were going. That sounded fishy to me. I foolishly filled out the form and saw I had to pay a $99 per person processing fee (which I included with the form), but I called them to see if they could give me their physical address so that I could Fedex to ensure they got it soon enough to process. They would not give me the address - said I had to use the PO box. I used Express Mail so that it would get there within 2 days. They also told me that I would need to pay another $300 for it being peak season and I said I would be willing to once they confirm our reservation.

I noticed that they cashed my check for the processing fee...but I got no phone call or vacation packets in the mail. I called them to follow-up (at that point I was livid because how dare they take my hard earned money and just keep it without giving us anything in return!). They kept putting me on hold and passing me back and forth between different people. I was on the phone for over 1/2 hour and started browsing the web and came across these RipOff reports on them. I hung up at that point as I realized that I was being jerked around. I hope someone can help shut them down and give us all back what's rightfully ours.
