Itt Technical Institute Camel Indiana(online division) Financial Aid Rip Off......ALL LIES Internet

I have been a student at Itt Tech online since March 2008. I still currently attend my classes. Last night, well the problem started about 2-3 months ago. My original financial aid rep walked me through everything when I signed up. I had no issues with her, so I thought. It all sounded too good to be true. I was going to get an education and not have to pay one penny for any of my loans(sallie mae, their dept.) nothing till 6 months AFTER I graduate. Great, I need an education.

Anyway, a few months ago some new guy contacted me from financial aid and said he was my new rep. His name is Christopher Ritchie. He said he was going to send my some financial paper work since the quarters had ended and he wanted to let me know the numbers I was looking at for what I had completed. I said OK no big deal. When the papers came fed x I opened it and they siad I owe $1043 dollars to them now. I was livid!! I called him and gave him a peice of my mind. I told him there was no way I was going to pay that money since that is not what I agreed to in the first place.

OH, maybe I should throw this in too, since I had started in March I have always been considered full time. I take 3 classes a Quarter. 1- 11 week class and 2- 6 week classes. My expected graduation date is June 5, 2011.

So I threatned to call a lawyer because something just didn't seem right then. He siad he would talk to his supervisor and see what he could do. I got another set of apaers an=bout a week later and he called me. This time he wanted to tell me that the $1043 had been written off. That I would not have to pay it. Great someone is listening to me. NOT!!!!!!!!

Sunday Jan.31 I completed one of my 6 wk classes expecting to log on the mext day for another new class. It wasen't there. So I called the school tech support to find out what was going on. Chris Ritchie told me this:

"Even though you have been taking full-time classes since you enrolled we have only been charging you as a part ime student. He said that Since I refused to pay the thousand dollare a few months ago it was going to cost me two thousand to get back to that scheduel."

Hold ON a second. Why should I have to pay extra to get back to my original scheduel? I did not drop down to part time, .

He says " the financial aid dept. dropped me to full time since I did not want out of pocket expenses" What the? No one ever said I was going to have out of pocket expenses. My books, tech support everything was included in my tuition that I would pay back 6 months after I graduate.

He then accused me of not expecting to pay for my education. I have no problem doing so except I want to do it the way I was informed in the first place. 6 months after I graduate.

So I was talking with my boyfriend last night and he said I should check to see if the school has ever been sued before, and here I am.

I am a mother of two, I work a craooy job for 12.5 hours a week @ 8.50 an hour. I bust my butt to have the 3.75 GPA that I have right now and for what? All this blood sweat and tears(let me tell you, it is not the work it is them that stress me out. No one seems to tell you the truth. Everyone says something different every time) I have out into the last ten months is turning out to be

THE BUGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I was going to do something with my life, get a good job, not have to scrimp and scrape to get by any more!!!!!
