Relaxing after work with a good online game can be relaxing, but I never expected a "free" trial to cost me so dearly. What started out as an affordable and free game download site turned into the worse online experience of my life - no exaggeration.

It started in October of 2011. I had some time off, so I decided to look for some online entertainment. iWin popped up with a free trial and a lot of intriguing games to keep me busy. I though, "It's free, and if it isn't something I like, I can cancel it." Boy was I wrong.

I did play, but I did not like the forced download player to help organize their games on my computer, so I cancelled the account. I clicked to the correct spot, and clicked cancel. It kept giving me errors and time outs, so I tried again the next day with the same results. I then went looking for a customer friendly toll-free number, and I found nothing.

I contacted iWin through their website contact form since that was all that was available, and never received a message back other than the autoresponder. I finally received an email more than 2 weeks later stating the account was closed, so I went on with my life.

Now I may to be blame for this, but I simply pay my credit card bill each month without going too far into the details. I roughly know what is on and not on the invoice. So I didn't notice that $9.99 charge. In fact, I didn't notice it until last week. I have been charge $9.99 per month from October of 2011 to April of 2013. I never once logged into the account nor played their games. I never got an email saying the account was being billed. Nothing.

I will be contacting my credit card company tomorrow to see if I can get this investigated. I did, however, cancel the account. I really hope it takes affect this time.

I have been online since 1992, and I have never felt so wrongly violated by an online company that, by all appearances, seems reputable. I am hoping leaving this RipOff Report will warn others of the dangers of providing credit card information to a company that does not have upfront contact information and refuses to state their locations. I did a "WHOIS" to get the information, so I was able to leave this report.

Friends, be cautious! Just because it looks pretty and looks professional does not make it a reputable website. I am out over $160 to prove it.
