 This Franchise promises that the Franchisee makes a good portfolio, or profits.

People buy into this cleaning franchise not knowing that they are making less than minimum wage. We cannot even afford to hire help as half our profits go to fees of Jan Pro.

Jan Pro is a misclassification of labor. They are getting away now with not paying franchisees.

We get a form 1099 at the end of the year for total amount of our contracts, when they take half in fees.

I got my 1099 claiming they paid me $10000, when in fact I made little more than $5000. Most months they took 40-60% of my check. We have to purchase equipment and chemicals of their choosing, through their distributor at our expense.

There is no helping us keep our accounts as promised. There is no garanteed territory. They will take your account and resell it to another franchisee.

No sooner than I am paying off these accounts, they are re-selling them to someone else. On top of that, their newest idea is, you either pay in full or it's "sweat equity" where they keep all of your profits for 6 months. In other words, you work for free, your time, gas, equipment is at your expense. You work for free.

This company is a misclassification stating you are a contractor.

I have had this happen to me time and time again, and I have no idea where to turn. This should be an illegal practice. We should all be paid for our time, gas, etc.

I paid off my account for a local Pediatricians office 2 months ago. Monday at 1:30 p.m. Pediatrics on Demand in Oak Lawn, Ill is having a walk through with a different franchisee. I wasn't paid for this account up until 2 months ago. I just got the account in February.

I  lost few other accounts in a similar fashion. I made no money for 6 months. When they had to start paying me, my account was resold to someone else.

Missed call fee

 I work afternoons. I missed a cal from a Pers Ops Manager regarding Pediatrics on Demand changing their cleaning crew.

This was my account since February and only in the past 2 months I have been paid for service.

 

I was informed this morning that I would be charged a $50 "missed call fee".

This is a misclassaification of a job. I am not an owner operator of anything. I am a unpaid/underpaid employee. I am not even making minimum wage, am responsible for income taxes, gas, and equipment.
