Jaquane Darnel Green Jay Green, Kaleta Myers Really bad tentant Escondido, California

I rented a luxurious beach front Condo in Rosarito Mexico, to Jaquane Darnell Green starting February 2016.  Contract is for for himself only. He moves in with a lady and small child. We observe a child jumping up and down on very expensive leather couch. 

The contract says no pets. Within a short time he is observed with a dog. When confronted, he says he is "sitting the dog for a friend". this turns out to be a lie. Shortly thereafter, neighbors advise me he has a cat. He doesn't pay the rent in July and gives me the run around.  He is told that his animals have to go and he suddenly leaves without notice, without paying the rent.  He  breached the 1 year lease. The security deposit does not cover the amount of rent and damage. He also skips out on the electric bill, which is in owners name.

 After he left, we discovered several items destroyed. Someone sat on a glass coffee table breaking it, (he glues it with super glue which gets onto the finish and mars it. He broke a dining room chair.  He broke the shower arm in a bathroom  (how do you do this?) and instead of repairing it, put a big glob of silicone over it as if this would fix the problem.  All this did was  cause a leak to the downstairs condo. His dog scratched the tables and cabinets and  his cat clawed the $3500.00 leather couch and ruined it. To make matters worse, he slit a hole in the screen door so his cat could get in and out without him having to open the door. His wife, Keleta Myers, who again was not on the contract, refused to follow the rules of the condominum association and argued with the security guards regularly about parking. Lastly when they left, the took all the towels and many of the linens. I was too nice in renting to him in the first place. He had a bad credit score, previously filed bankruptcy and I "naievly thought" he might be a good tenant. They left the place filthy.  They have no respect for other peoples property and anyone considering renting to them to take heed.
