 I received a phone call that left a voicemail with another number to call regarding a civil suit against me. Upon calling the number in the voicemail, the man who answered the phone identified himself as Jason Riley. He stated that a civil suit had been launched against me for an outstanding balance with Sprint wireless. He used the threat of court and said that unless payment was made, I would be summoned to court. I have never had any court issues and I was scared that being brought into court would affect the credit I have been trying to rebuild. Plain and simple, do not call any numbers back if this happens to you. They had my addresses, very old ones as well, and were convincing. I am not ashamed that I was so rattled that I was in tears. Now the tears are because they took me for hard earned money that I needed to repair my house after hurricane Matthew.
