Jayson Fleury is a sociopathic grifter and a liar. He preys on the emotionally vulnerable and poor women. He ripped me off for $1,300 that I have no way to recoup. He also left me for dead, stranded with no gas, no money, and no food in the middle of downtown Toronto. He initially contacted me through Facebook. He rooked me in on pretenses of friendship and working together to get justice for his murdered sister, Mona Lee Wilson, whose remains were found at BC serial killer Robert Pickton's farm back in 2002. Jayson talked me into coming out to Vancouver where he was living in Feb 2011.

After I got there on April 19, he was incredibly controlling. He coerced and bullied me into driving him across Canada in a rental car, even though I told him repeatedly that I could not afford it. He got rather forceful about it and said he'd "have it covered." He didn't. I had completely run out of funds by the time we reached Edmonton. My hell ride across North America with this man ended when he abruptly left me stranded in the company of strange men (whom he knew, but I did not) having a peace camp on around May 15, 2011. Jayson left me stranded with no money, no food, and no gas to get back home to the states where I live.

If not for the First Nations people at the Native Canadian Friendship Center raising funds through holding a blanket dance for me, I don't know how or if I would have gotten back home to the states.

I later learned after writing an expository blog article about this man, that he had been scamming many other vulnerable women through using Facebook and other social media. I found out that he had shanghaied other vulnerable women into driving him across Canada, and on one occasion he lied about his age saying that he was 37 when he's 47. One of his former victims was a 17 yr-old girl.

Some of these women live in the states, some in Canada, and some in Europe. He got these women to send him money by claiming that he needed it for seizure medication for his murdered sister's daughters that he said he is fostering. That is a lie he often used on several other women to get money out of them. His murdered sister Mona only had a little boy, as far as Canadian news sources state. When I went out to Vancouver to visit him, Jayson did not have custody (or even know the whereabouts) of his murdered sister's child/children. He was living in an apartment on Willemar Dr in Courtenay, BC that he shared with a roommate named Todd.

As an aside, being a First Nations man in Canada where there is socialized medicine, he might not need money to pay for the medicine, depending on the province.

After he bleeds people completely dry, he deletes and blocks them so they cannot track his Facebook activities of scamming other unwitting victims, so it's harder for his victims to warn his next prey so they may take precaution to protect themselves. Another scam he used to bully his other Facebook friends out of money is to say that he needed it to bail Elders out of jail for protesting. And another scam is that he is stranded somewhere and needs money for a bus ticket home.

It's amazing how many people have sent him money so that he could live large partying his way back and forth across Canada 3-4 times a year, yet no one ever seems to have any sympathy or money to send to poor women who truly need it and who are legit.
