JC Penney Failed to pay promised rebate Wichita Falls Texas

Made a sale priced item purchase, that included a rebate. Gathered and submitted all documentation required. Recieved an E-mail, 2/14/2015, which stated that they had received my submitted documentation, and that it was complete and correct. Also stated that my rebate was validated and I would reveive the rebate by 2/24/2015.
The date today is 6/5/2015, and I have not received the rebate. Have contacted them only to be given excuses, such as, " bad weathrr across the country has delayed payment". Their offices mus tbe out of doors. Am thinking that they have no intemtion of ever paying the rebate.

Well, this site works. rebate was mailed two days after report, received 6/11, only four months late, but I did finally get it!

FYI, I don't believe a used coffee maker, in perfect operating condition, and which I am quite satisfied with the operation of, is a returnable item. I just would have liked JCP to abide by their rebate program, as is required by Texas state law. I also apologize, to you, for the difficulties I encountered with the input of my inforemation on this site's web page. Sorry if it offended you.

How come you did not take the merchandise back to your local JCP?? FYI if you want to be taken seriously in your report learn to spell!
