I gave a relative of mine Jeff Bernard's number as a local business that advertised the work he needed done. Jeff personally quoted him $5000 for a job that two competitors quoted $1500 and $1900 for respectively. Jeff is basically a used car dealer, who claims he will "beat anyone else's price by 10%", but would never have the integrity to offer a good, honest price up front. When my relative called him back as a courtesy, to let him know that he was going to have someone else do the job since his price was significantly higher, Jeff told him to "F#@% off!" Great way to do business!! Trying to rip off the the people in his own community, then using that language when he doesn't get the job. You would have to be a fool to even call this guy for a job.

I have better things to do than worry about bad-mouthing a landscaping business for no reason. The only thing that hurts your business is you telling a potential customer to f#!% off. Now you can deal with the consequences.
