 Jeff Poll is a liar and has no conscience.  He knows he owes us $1700, admitted the issues, and agreed to pay us on a measly payment plan of $100 every two weeks, but once again, lied to us and we haven't seen a dime.  We have since brought him to small claims court, and won, partly because, once again, he refused to show up. 

Jeff and his team built two custom shower pans for us, which were not properly water proofed, and therefore caused a leaks, and our main level flooded.  We were forced to hire a second contractor to fix his errors. 

I just wish I had "googled" him, and found these previously reported issues on RIPPED OFF REPORT - I obviously would never have hired him.  Many of the issues are similar to the two similar reports from 2012

1.  Poor workmanship. 

- Vinyl placed under tile leaked/was not waterproof:  Why?  Jeff and his team used NAILS on the vinyl - how was this supposed to be waterproof?  Who does that?

- Used regular sheet rock behind the shower's tile vs. the required waterproof cement board.  This caused water to creep up the walls.

- See the attached photos where water built up under the shower entrance curb, and expanded the tile.  This water then leaked below into the ceiling of our main level kitchen. 

2.  No work ethic. 

- Jeff repeatedly lied about showing up to work late - or not at all.  This then caused delays in the project, forcing him and his team to work long days, and further affecting their poor workmanship.

- Jeff LIES.  Do not let Jeff open his mouth.  He wants to "develop a relationship" with you, and get on your good side, promising what he has no intention of delivering.  Jeff has no conscience.  This is further proven by him promising he would pay us the $1700 - admitting fault - but we have not yet seen a dime. 

3.  Lack of preparation and protecting our house. 

- Jeff did not either hang plastic sheeting, to contain the dust, or lay tarps on our carpet, which resulted in permanent stains that have not come out after professional carpet cleaning.

Jeff is a liar, a poor worker, has no work ethic, and does not respect people's property.

Do not hire him or let anyone you know do so either.
