Jeffrey Rech Another Crsigslist scammer like the previous ones but I decided to post because the name of the Craigslist scammer New York, New York USA Internet

I posted a car for sale on Craigslist. Three days later I heard from a Jeffrey Rech, obviously an alias wanting to know more about the car. I provided additional and detailed maintenance information and received the following reponse.

Thanks for honest and detailed answer, I am glad to know all these facts and I believe that it's in good condition. I also believe that it's very well maintained. However, I’m interested in seeing a history report for your vehicle.

If you don’t have one, I’d really appreciate it if you can get it from usavinexpose.com. Because I’d like to pay you back if we make a deal, and they’re a lot cheaper than CarFax.

I’d get it myself but I don’t want to risk it being bad and just end up wasting my money. If everything is okay with that report, I’d like to see your car tomorrow, if you’re free.

RED FLAG! SCAM ALERT!

I politely replied telling him that I was in no hurry to sell the car and that I knew where "this" was going. I will never hear from him again. Thank goodness.
