We sought out JK Harris in 2001 to help us with delinquent taxes owed to the IRS. They said they could save us pennies on the dollar with the IRS, took $2500 plus dollars in fees and then for the next 3-4 years passed us from one rep to another, losing reports, asking for duplicate papers, making one excuse or another, causing us much anxiety and frustration all the while making the situation more impossible with the IRS and in the end causing the IRS to levy on all our assets.

We had to go into bankruptcy to keep from losing everything because of their negligence and ineptness to do what they had claimed they could do. We were totally exasperated at the end of this experience and still out the fees that they charged us.

We are seniors and it was a hardship on us to engage them in the first place. I have great disdain for this company and would like to see them be held accountable for their fraudulent business practices. This company advertises on a regular basis on national T.V. that they can help people with tax problems.

I have been on the internet and there are numerous sites that contain hundreds of stories such as mine. Why are these people allowed to continue operating ?
