This Woman
Joanna Catherine Stan
is a liar and scam artist !
A brunette lady which is easy to spot being well over 6ft tall,
She cleverly uses the NPI number: (((redacted)))
She meets people under the title and premise of being a medcal doctor, clinical psychologist, or rehabilitationist. In truth she has either not practiced in years or never has ever. Either way she will charm you and ask for grants or moneys to continue her so called career in some way. Now, when you start to ask questions or require more details you will get the 3rd degree or chances are you will never hear from her again.
She cleverly uses real medical business locations' + phone numbers ( without a suite number ) to represent her fake location of practice
like:
5935 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401 (818) 285-1900
or
3756 Santa Rosalia Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90008 (323) 568-5460. Neither of these medical business' have ever heard of her.

I wanted to write a rebuttal because my family and I have been seeing Dr. Joanna for a few years now and she has been really helpful with my depression and marital problems. She is a real doctor and is kind and knowledgable about mental health problems. Please don't listen to or beleive everything you see on the internet! It is full of crazy people!

During this time last year (September 2014), I ended a relationship with a very toxic person. This is very wrong to try to damage someone professionally to get attention, and I hope the person who wrote this about me seeks help.
My rebuttal is this: I am a clinical psychologist who has earned my doctorate and master's degree in psychology. I do not have a private practice.
The two addresses listed in this complaint are two mental health facilities that I interned at - I did not hold a private practice there.
