John Casablancas Modeling JC Modeling Humiliation Tactics and High Pressure Scam Sales, Timonium, Maryland

Please beware.  This company uses tactics guaranteed to put parents and young persons in a position where they feel they must commit to a ridiculous amount of money for a program to "teach" your child/self how to model.

The amount of money?  At least $2300.00 but on the payment plan double that amount.  My husband sat with them at the "call back" and was asked, "Can you not afford $50/week for your son?"  Gee, if he says, "No." is he a bad parent?  Please note that my husband is far from stupid and was doing the calculations on his Blackberry at the same time as she was talking.  His amount was $100/week based on what she was saying.  When he questioned her she just changed the subject.  Also, they insisted that the signing be done then and there.  When my husband asked to sleep on it they said, "No."  My son asked if he could audit a class to see if it is what he wants and the answer, "No."

When he indicated that my son would not be taking part the interviewer became angry and asked, "Just what did you think you were coming here today for?  Did you think this is free?  You are wasting our time.  Why did you come and waste our time?"  When my husband still refused to sign up she turned to my son and said, "Enjoy flipping burgers!"

If you are still not skeptical check out the JC website.  They have testimonials from satisifed clients.  Read them, they all say the same thing, "The last class was really great, I learned alot", and much more along the same vein.  There is not one single comment about getting any work - you would think that was a guarantee they way they go on about it in your interview.  Also, check out their client success book.  It is a very short list of clients considering that this company has operations all over the country.  Do check out the number of jobs each person went to.  They all have a short list, some only 2 or 4 jobs.  That would not even pay for your classes.
